“Pascha” means passover and the Byzantine tradition continues to call its celebration of the Resurrection by this name.
We won’t understand Pascha of the New Testament if we don’t understand the Passover of the Old. For this reason, Byzantine Holy Week offers us the Book of Exodus to accompany our walk with the Lord who accomplishes all this on our behalf: the cross, the tomb, the resurrection on the third day.
Join Fr. Andrew Summerson, St. Mary’s Schola, and the parish family for a three-day retreat on the Book of Exodus during our evening services, drawing from the Early Christian understanding of Exodus, rooted in the faith.
Confessions will be available each evening before, during, and after the service.
Services and sermons will be live-streamed via Zoom and Social Media
