It is with great pleasure that I announce our inaugural Singing Camp at St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church in Whiting, Indiana for children ages 9 – 12 on July 17th through 22nd, 2018.
This is a unique opportunity to introduce your child to the basics of vocal technique, music reading, choral singing, and most importantly to praising God using the liturgical chant of the Byzantine Catholic Church. This is a gift that you can give your child now that will last a lifetime.
A variety of singing activities will be scheduled throughout the day from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Child care is available for early drop off starting at 8 a.m.
Our music camp will culminate with the singing of the Divine Liturgy and concert on Sunday, July 22nd at 9:30 am at St. Mary’s Church.
The cost for the camp is $50 per child, or $100 maximum per family, which includes lunch and a free T-Shirt.
